About the USM Haller System
In 1963, Swiss engineer Paul Schärer and architect Fritz Haller distilled industrial construction into a single idea: chromed steel tubes joined by a small brass-and-chrome ball, each drilled and threaded in six directions. The USM Haller system turned furniture into architecture — endlessly reconfigurable, rigorously geometric, and so quietly beautiful that it entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. This coffee table stays true to that modular tradition: the same ball-joint construction and the same honest metal surfaces, stretched into a low two-tier table for the living room.

Care
Wipe the powder-coated panels with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them straight away; skip abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can dull the baked finish. Bring the chromed tubes and ball joints back to a mirror shine with a dry microfiber cloth. Use coasters under hot or wet cups, and lift the table rather than dragging it when you move it.

Yes. We deliver to France and Germany door to door: standard delivery takes about 45 days and expedited delivery about 35 days. The international leg travels by multimodal transport and takes around four weeks. Your order then arrives at our bonded warehouse in the EU, clears customs there and is handed to a local carrier for last-mile delivery. You will receive a tracking number during the week before delivery. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): customs duties and import VAT are prepaid by us, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.
